Herons Rest -riverfront, fire pit (2), all seasons porch, grill, games, fishing, deck, wifi, river view

This place had everything we were looking for. The practical functionality of the home was great (well-stocked kitchen, good mattresses, comfy furniture), but the ambiance was next-level. The beautiful view of the river from the deck was amazing. The big fire pit, picnic table, and rockers near the bank were just perfect. While the bank was steep, it was not too bad for our kids to walk down to the water, and the river was slow-moving enough at the bend for them to wade and splash around. The property felt very private and safe. Inside, the kitchen was comfortable to cook in, and there was plenty of seating indoors and out. There were a variety of games available for rainy days. The internet signal was excellent and reached nearly all the way out to the riverside rockers. This home was clean and well-cared for. We would stay here again in a heartbeat.

House was great and location on the water is peaceful and lovely . It was a bit of Fall in the air - would have been great if there was any wood for the fire circles, or pellet stove worked, or info for the front porch fire table! Guessing it was due to start of a new season.Thanks for a nice getaway.

We had a great time at the cabin. The property was very clean and cozy. We enjoyed the firepits and the river. The extra details like the lights outside, the color changing flowers and dragonfly were awesome too!!
